I am getting thrown around in loops trying to find out what has superseded my list of specs. What is the difference between a QQ-A-### spec and an SAE AMA QQ-A-### spec with the same number designation? They have different revision letters and different superseding documents.
If an AMS spec is cancelled, does that mean I should use the previous revision, or not use that spec at all? I understand that if a spec is superseded, I would need to use the superseding spec, but some specs are cancelled but not superseded.
