What's the best practice way to make a sketch line visible on a flat pattern?

I've been asked to put a safety rail on a structure that has to be able to support 3 people falling off
The rail would be 4m long and the people are attached to 2m long safety lines.
So worst case scenario is all 3 of them fall simultaneously in the middle of the rail and fall down 2 meters...
When using the drafting templates we sometimes have to scale parts in order for them to fit.
Sending these files to our subcontractors sometimes results in them lasering the part on scale.
Can anyone suggest a better method or a way to automatically export your drawings to a 1:1 scale?

I was creating a drawing(123456-01-dwg) of a file(123456-01) and wanted to save that file under another name.
In stead, I saved the drawing under another name (123457-01) so...

In there it describes the use of an assembly cut.
Is there, however, a way to add actual threaded holes? It seems like after I've performed an assembly cut I can do with the part as I please, but I find no way to reach that state without doing one.
Any hints?

I'm trying to 'dumb down' a part of ours in order to increase load times.
The part in question consists of about 200 bodies and I would like to unite them and save them as 3-5 bodies.
Would this make the part 'lighter'?

When we add a nipple in one of our assemblies, we give it a part number of our own (random number with no reference to the properties of the item).
Problem is, when I want to use this same nipple in another assembly, it's difficult to find out if that type already has been assigned a number...

Every now and then, my hide button on my radial selection disappears. I have no idea what causes this or how to bring it back. It always comes back on itself.
When the button is gone, I can still hide items via the normal button.

When I open NX outside of teamcenter, I open the native version which is not connected with TC. Is there a way to open the connected version without having to open teamcenter?
Since TC (or at least the navigator) is implemented inside of NX I often don't see the reason.
