I am having problems with my low-permeability model in ABAQUS using tetrahedrons C3D10MP.
A resulting pore pressure with a checker-board-ish pattern appears.
Is there a way of tackling this permeability locking?

I am trying to develop a poroelastic model of bone, and the intrinsic permeability values are very low (10^-24 m^2). I'm having a problem when going from higher permeability material properties to lower permeability.

I am applying the tool "tri to tet" in a quadratic element mesh.
Before that, the nodes are sorted by their label in the structure mdb.models[NameOfTheModel].parts[NameOfThePart].nodes
