I want to make a vertical ground drill, for that i got old horizontal foot mount helical gear motor, now issue is that I want it to use in vertical position will it work or i have to make some other arrangement to convert horizontal to vertical rotation.

I want design 7.5 kw air vane pump with 10 m3/hr. But I am stuck where to start.
Do i go shaft--> vane displacement--> rotor --> cam ring --> Casing etc...
as not able to get any literature on same , more centrifugal pump is found.

How simulate in design simulation in nx9
if pressure 20bar and vane is rotating and sliding assuming material steel.
I tried but not able to fix the vane in slot portion in simulation.

Is there is any shaft generator add on or kf or udf so that it would be easy to calculate and determine the shaft size reduce the time for calculation for shaft sizing.
Like there is one in auto-cad mechanical shaft generator.

How to calculate input torque and speed, i want to generate 1 kw of power. I am design a pneumatic motor to drive generator.
and also if speed of input pneumatic motor varies +-300rpm

and want to scale it up just changing the above parameters and components should modify according to formulas created while designing the system.

I want to deliver assly to customer and customer need dumb file i.e components without features. Is it possbile to take assly outside the teamcenter and automatically the child parts features can get removed and part should have only Dumb bodies. but the assly should remain same.

I am creating a udf for holes in non planer face, issue is that when i insert udf the durection of draft and extrude flips and udf fails. Also tried using datum axis. It asks for drat edges ir faces.

I am working on NX 9 with TC integrated. I am editing a part which large part history.
When i delete edge blend NX takes 20 min to compeleted the process. As i tried with suppresing but without deleting not feasbile to edit.
And NX is also working very slow.
Pleas help what to do...

I am not able to see the objects other than layer 1. U have bodies in layers 50 61. When on the layer they show shiwn in part navigator but not visible on screen. If i move them to layer 1 then they shows.

I have created a plastic component. First i done slope for draft analysis. Then after sometime used draft analysis.
Now problem is hiw to delete shape analysis from face rendering. As both overlap and not get. Required visual.
Slipe analysis sticks to body. I want to remove it.
We have one assembly drw, this in TC and my customer wants only drw in prt format. I dont how to do that. I tried exporting by 2d exchabge in prt but it moves and dimesions from orignal place.
Also tried by breaking links by supression but the views dont show exact drw which was with...

I have A surfaces and creating sections of B surfaces with reference with section curves (splines). But during sketching for every line i draw nx shows sketch updating and it takes lots of time. I am offseting splines for B surfaces.
