    Small hydraulic valve requiring a CRN?

    I have received a requirement from our Sales Department to provide a CRN (for Alberta province)for a longstanding design of hydraulic needle valve. This is one of a range of valves with sizes up 1". Do I need to follow the full B51 / ASME VIII route or is there an exemption that could help me out?
