    Composite metal deck and slab

    Is WWF required/needed for temp and shrinkage in an elevated slab designed using composite deck? It is not needed for carrying load for the values in the deck manufacturers tables for composite deck (at least for Vulcraft). My situation is 1.5VL20, 5" overall tk. Thanks for the help.

    I'm looking for a recommendation for a stand alone program that generates wind loads per ASCE 7-05 METHOD 2 (not method 1, simplified). The Enercalc program I have only does method 1. It doesn't need to be freeware, just good.
