    We are currently reburbishing a customers gearbox not manufactured by ourselves. The situation is we have a shaft onto which a gearwheel is shrunk on.     Limits and fits

    Hi, what is the correct way to dimension upper and lower limits for holes on a drawing. Should the MMC be above LMC? OR the higher value be above the lower.I prefer the latter to avoid confusion but I have been told that the former is the correct way.Please advise
