I'm looking for source code for the generic Scale routine that comes with the S7-300 range of PLC's. Reason being that I want to edit and change it to improve it so that I can calibrate between any two points rather than fixed points.

We have Cimplicity Plant edition interfaced to Seimens S7-300 PLC through the siemens PCMCIA LINK and an OPC server called Merz.

We have a simple system with about 131 tags. And require a fast up date to our HMI.
We have the following hardware
Siemens CPU 315
Siemens RS232 -> MPI interface
Kepware OPC Server software
Cimplicity Plant HMI
What I have found is that with the 131 tag we only get 5 tags updated a second...
Can any one help out there, Is there any way I can detect where the Key position on the front of the PLC. So that this can be shown in a GEFanuc Cimplicity SCADA HMI.
