For FEM of indentation, how to measure the area of cavity (area of the indent) and area of the ridges (area of the material displaced by the indenter) from Abaqus/Explicit odb file.
Hi, I am working on machining problem using Abaqus/Explicit. I am curious to know if there is any option/way to calculate the area of node displacement (node deformation) in Abaqus/Explicit.
I am working on Abaqus/Explicit and trying to test run the indentation problem. When I plot the reaction forces, graph shows fluctuation. Can someone help me to locate the mistake I am doing.
