My question is if i input a series of velocity changes in a transient analysis will the program automatically generate the accelerations.
I.e. ramped velocity increase over a time period of 1s from 0m/s to 5m/s, will the acceleration force be applied based on these input values?
I want to use Mass 21 element as part of my program but im unsure of how to use it and cant seem to find much information on it.
Basically i want to know what real constants it needs. I know it is mass in each axis and inertia around each axis but how does one calculate what these would be?
Need some help here, my copy of ansys 12.1 wont provide solutions. When you click solve current ls it says it has done it but the values for everything are just zero.
Funny thing is previous models ive created on other computers work fine and will give me perfect solutions.
