How can I define material properties (concrete or steel)such as Compression strength varies with temperature? In Engineering data in Work bench we can have vary density in temperature define by table but for compression and tensile there is no table !

Dear Helmi
I started doing the exact exercise that you are doing with concrete slab. I am using shell elements S4R.
My first question is why you use solid elements instead of shell elements?

Why the temperature are same in heat transfer analysis for depth of shell element? The integration point in slab was defined 5, Then I should have 5 different temperature.
Hi
I am modeling a shell elements for concrete slab with reinforcement.
2 files: 1 for heat transfer (Heat transfer) and another for stress analysis (static,general)
I checked that section have the same integration point (5) for both files.
When I run the stress file,I have following warnings...
How we can add a temperature function for a concrete slab (SHELL element)?
Temperature function is related to time, for example:
T=20+345log(480t+1)
T: Temperature t:time(hours)
Temperature should be input in Boundary condition or loads?
I am modeling a concrete slab with shell element.
1. Can I show the temperature distribution in thickness of slab? How?
2. The HEAT FLUX should be given manually or it will be calculated by ABAQUS? If I must define manually, how can I calculated? Is it vaty with temperature?
