I found the sheetmetal bend allowance, which was defaulting to "K=0.5" has changed on a whole truck of my parts to "bend deduction=0"
I beleive this happened after I upgraded from 2010 to 2011 SP5.
My VAR doesn't seem to be able to tell me where this default is set, suggesting it is hard coded...
If you select two cyclinders that are not concentric it tells you the distance between the axes calling it "centre distance"
but when the cylinders are concentric it uses the same term "center distance" and gives you the distance from one of the cylinder to the opposite end of the other cylinder...

hide sub assy parts
show sub assembly parts
promote sub assembly parts.
Hide and the sub assy will be just one part in the bom.

However I have a conflicting report of a user who is on win7/SW2011 and still using office 2003 without any problems.

Its probably well known among everyone on here, but I just increased the performance of solidworks a lot on one of our PCs by disabling hyperthreading on the processor.
Previously SW was limited to 50% of CPU - not necessary as this particualr PC does nothing but solidworks.
