    wave effects on slope stability

    we need to evaluate the effects of waves crashing on a landfill's slope stability. We are planning to calculate the effects of rapid increase and drawdown of groundwater levels. Does anybody have any suggestions or references on how to calculate actual forces from the waves? Thanks
