    V-M diagram for a hinged beam (probably an easy question)

    I'm still very much a newbie and would really like some help. I've looked through my old Strength of Materials textbook but couldn't find an example of how to draw V-M diagrams for a hinged beam. My goal is to calculate the stress at the slot. Not sure if I'm looking at solving this...
