I know how to create a section view; however, I was wondering if you could do multiple section views and put them all on one section view. Say for example. I have a circle, and I put a section view down the center. It will show me that section, but what if I want to add in two more separate...
How can I put this in better words, how do you change the reference planes so that you can make a new place to be your axis. I have two objects in my assembly, and they don't line up because the other object is slightly rotated at another angle.
On my draft sheet, I want to have an E Background sheet. I know their is A, B, C, and D background sheets, but I was wondering if their was an E. I know I can set the sheet up to size E, but that's the sheet itself, not the background. Is this possible or is D the maximum?
I have a drawing of my assembly, and I just want to print out the cross section of it; however, when I delete the view I chose it deletes my cross section as well.
I'm trying to Drag Components, but when I click on the object I want to drag, it makes me control like 5 or 6 other objects. I just want to control one object.
I know how to render the assembly I'm working on, but when I animate it, it goes back to the regular mode. How do I keep it rendered while in animation mode.
I'm using SOLID EDGE ST, and I've been trying to get the stator on my compressor to rotate. But I can't. I can only rotate the Rotor Blades, and the nose gaurd. How can I get the stator to rotate as well. I put my motor on the stator, but when I run the simulation nothing happens.
I'm using Solid Edge ST, and I don't know how to Wireframe a single object on an assembly. For example, I want to wire frame the part that gaurds the rotor, but have my rotor in solid form.
I'm doing an internship at NPS, and my mentor wants me to simulate the motion of a 3D transonic compressor. I know how to do the motion, but when I want to explode it and animate it, it won't allow me to put the motion I made into the animation.
