I'm doing an explicit dynamics problem in Workbench 12.1 with a bullet hitting a 'gellatin' block at 230m/s.
The bullet is rigid and set as a copper alloy and 'gellatin' was initially take as "Neoprene Rubber" from the engineering data. But that result didn't come out, right. So I used...
I am using Inventor Professional 2011. How would I make a sheet metal fold that doesn't fold everything along that line? Something like creating a limit to where the fold will affect.
I know that ANSYS 13 is coming out soon, but could I know what major changes are from 12 to 12.1 that could affect CFD analysis? At uni we use 12.1 and at work 12. I know that projects saved in 12.1 can't be opened in 12, but that's far as my knowledge goes.
I come from Pro/E and Solidworks usage. And making an extrusion cut is easy but I just can't find this option in DesignModeler 12.1.
For example, I want to cut a cylindrical hole halfway through a bigger cylinder. I draw the bigger cylinder then click generate. Then when I try to draw another...
