    Capacitor controller evaluation - local VAR control

    I am working on a capacitor controller evaluation on our 25kV distribution system. We have decided on local VAR control with potential central control down the road. I have researched Cooper, QEI, GE, and SEL controllers thus far but am very interested in feedback from users.

    Capacitor fusing

    Dear All, Last week, I started a project installing additional capacitors and cap controllers in our 25kV system. After some research, we have noticed that some of our fuses that protect our existing caps have been blowing quite frequently. Is anyone aware of other fusing options that we can try?
