Can anyone tell away of showing the centroid in a drawing I am able to bring it up in the graphics area using mass. when I use it in the graphics area I don't no were the coordinates are from and its even harder to find when I am in an assembly, it would be a great help this was possible.
I have made a latch for a bin in assembly but, when I move one part to lift the other it just go straight through it.
When i put mates to it, it will move but stays to it so it wont open any wider can anyone help please.
When i make half tube in sheetmetal useing base flange tab then use direction 1 and 2 and extrude it to different surfaces.
When i use extrude cut to make it on an angle it does not flatten with cut i have made it stay straight.
Im not sure if im doing the right thing any help would be grateful.
Is it possible to use words and then change them for off setting so there is a gap between the letters so they can be cut out in sheet metal im using 2005 would be very helpful if this is possible.

This is a query about stainless steel out doors. I made a slide at work when it was in the shop everything was flat.
When it was fitted about amouth later parts have bowed could this be due to the weather? eg. hot or cold.

Im using 2005 version, when i flatten a pattern the infomation that tells you the angle,and up or down, does not appear how do i switch it on if possible.
Im using solidworks 2005 when i draw a sketch then base flange it gives you 2 direction options .
when i send them to a suface the pattern displays but wont flatten any reason for this
