Just a clarification regarding unreinforced openings in ASME VIII div. 2 subsequent to Ed. 2007.
Until Ed. 2004, AD-510 allowed for unreinforced openings for hole diameters less than 2" (50 mm).
Starting from Ed. 2007 unreinforced openings seem to be no longer covered, even if unreinforced...
