you guys really help me out here, and am always performing searches to find answers
this time i have looked and cannot seam to find a thread with what im looking for.
i have the attached part come into quality assurance today & the inspector is asking me if he can hold it between centers & use...
making a bracket that has to look like the attached .step file in sheet metal design with Inventor 2012.
I have made the bracket minus the knee on the top of the bracket does anyone know how to add this to a sheet metal part and still allow it to unfold?
I can model it in with sculpt but well...
Im new to this Gd&T stuff and have only had a couple courses on it. I know that you can't use imaginary points as datums... the drawing attached has a datum "A" we want to use but I am unsure if its allowed?
Any help would be great.
