I don't know why but if I have a hole that is threaded it shows up fine in a draft, but if I have an external thread it shows up fine in the model as a simplified thread but has no hidden lines in the draft showing the minor diameter, it just looks like a shaft.
I am running V20 and have no problem on most assemblies but for some reason I have one that will not allow me to cut any parts. Has anybody seen this or have any ideas for me?
I am on V20 and every time I save an assembly file it creates a .cfg file that XP says is a microsoft office outlook file. Is there any way to turn that off so it does not always create this file?
I work contract and they have a standard draft they use but for whatever reason my hole callouts show nothing but blank when I use them. I can take the same exact part and use one of the standard drafts and the callouts work fine. Does anyone know what I am missing.
If I have parts open from different directories can I add them to an assembly without having to use the parts library to constantly switch to different directories? I would think if I already have them open I should be able to add by picking the window of the part I want to add.
Some of the variables I am trying to expose to show up in custom poroperties cannot be changed from the custom properties window, they are greyed out yet other ones that I expose can be changed just fine. I cannot find out the difference or if I can change the variable to not be greyed out...
Does anyone know if or how I can use statements to describe what a variables value should be?
If v1 = xxx then v2 equals yyy, this is a very simple version of what I want to achieve.
Our shop uses an excel form that includes the item number, quanity and material along with alot of other columns that they fill out for routing the machining. Can we have SE at least populate the first three columns for them?
