    controlling mass flow rate

Hello is there any way that we can control mass flow rate of air coming with varying temperature? If there was a temperature range of -20 to +100 C I'm puzzled on how we can meaure flow rate with a varying density of air. Is there such a device that can measure it, say with a known CFM? Thanks

Looking for cooling unit with two feeds

I'm looking for a cooling unit, portable if possible that can cool around -80 to 90 C. It would be ideal if there are two sources for airflow, one line will be directly connected to the electronics and other will be connected to an enclosure that contains the entire unit. I would need to be...

Stainless Steel corrosion on marine environment

Hello has anyone have any experience on a stainless steel that is showing some corrosion pits after exposure in the ocean. The metal is not fully exposed to the water, moisture will probably still seep in. Would you happen to have a recommendation on how this can be prevented in the future...

    lightning heat transfer calculation

I am stumped trying to find the thermal rise on a brass strip during a lightning strike. The expected energy at .000070s is 271.1 Joules. I tried using the heat transfer equn for conduction but I'm getting a really high delta T. Can anyone please help, am I using the wrong equation, or am...
