Does anyone know of a UK source for stainless steel tube. It needs to be OK for 40 bar internal pressure with an external temperature of around 600 deg C. I need an OD around 8 - 10 mm, and the tube must be formable to about 200m radius.
Even a suitable material spec will get me on the right...
I've heard of an unloved steam traction engine laying rusting in Oz. It was said to be a Burrell or a Foster (but nobody seems sure).
I'm trying to track it down as a restoration project for our small steam museum.
