    aircraft windshield / window and sealants

    I have been taught never to use polysulfide based sealants where in direct contact with acrylics (windshields or windows). The exception to this rule is the use of acrylic compatible polysulfides (ex. PR1425). The reason given was solvents used in these sealants would cause these transparencies...
