    Girded/beam design

    What is the allowable variation from centerline of the web to the centerline of the flanges? AWS D1.1 Para. 5.23.7 allows 1/4". Is this compareable to AISC Structural requirements? The girder/beams in question are supporting a 80 ton overhead crane.
