How is call a heat (cool) treatment for alumniniun, when after heated and quenched in water, it shall be put in a refrigeration chamber at a very low temp , at least -29ºC , to stop the Al. ageing.
Material thicknes is about 0.125"
I know that in the aeronautical industrie , aluminiun piece are annealed , and to keep it in such state , it shall be kept at low temperature , about -40ºC or ºF for no more than 3 days.
I want know which standard cover it , no mater if it is ASTM , or from Europe or from any place.
Thanks...
If I vent ammonia at it´s gaseous state inside a water tank , what reactions, or elements becomes from it.??
I´m a Refrigeration mechanic , and since the start of the amonnia refrigetarion is working , every body do it with no problem.
But now I need to tell my customer what will be happen...
Normally using a piston air compresor, run by a electric motor a vacuum about 3" or 4" Hg absolute value can be reached.
A refrigeration compresor reach the same , using air, not at a refrigeration cicle, of course it is not the best to use
What could be the minumun vacuum or absolute pressure...
At the attachment is a image of a hand operated vacuum pump named
"Komovskiy vacuum pump" , do any member ever see or use this kind of pum?
I want to know what is the max vacuum it can achieve.
Thanks in advance
What is the least decompose temperature for a azeotropic sulfuric acid-water mixture.?
What is the sulfuric acid-water ratio that have the least decompose temp?
Once I see a graphic and related formula to know flow by the heigth the fluid rising from a open pipe standing vertical its main axis .
Any had seen it?
Please route mo to it.
Thanks in advance
Maybe a wrong forum to post it.
If so please redirect me.
A swimming pool will have all around it a leveled border.
Width 4.4 meter , length 13 meter
The pump can deliver 35 m3/hour.
The water will overflow all around the border.
Now the one million dollar question.

Where I can find a table or formula to get the boiling point of the H2SO4 (sulphuric acid) + H2O (water) azeotropic mixture.
Mainly for the mixture used in lead-acid battery. 33.5% v/v
I am trying to size an air receiver tank for the pneumatic operation of 16 valves. There are:

6 24" valves that require 2.29 gallons for a full stroke (at atmospheric pressure)
The operating pressure of the...
