Can anyone give some tips? I have an 8" carbon steel under ground gas line to be hot tapped with a branch size 8". My questions :
1. Underground hottapping is it possible?
2. What precautions necessary to have this underground hottapping?
For a drain vessel design (ASME SEC VIII, Div 1) there are 2 vertical pumps to be mounted on 2 nozzles (650 mm dia) on top of this horizontal vessel. Is any special consideration to be given in the vessel design for the pumps coming on top of the vessel?
