Which code defines TRIM materials, i've been searching and found in API 600 a table with basic trim mateials, this is the right one or there is other. API 6D don't mention it neither ASME B16.34. My valve is a 20" gate type API 6D.
ASME B31.4 state as mainline pipelines: all in-line pipeline pipes, fittings, bends, elbows, check valves, and block valves between scraper traps.
So it is a good practice to install a check valve (swing check valve)in a pipeline when pigging is required?

Hi everyone, does the AFT Impulse software output shows the overpressure value (just output ?P)or the result include the permanent estatic pressure (P=PO+?P)
PO: Operating pressure
P: Total pressure
?P: Increse of pressure due to water hammer
