HIGH MATRIX/FACTOR DIAGONAL RATIO
Hello to everyone, I am running a nonlinear analysis on Nastran using CBEAM as rivets and CGAP elements and have very high (10E+9) or negative MATRIX/FACTOR DIAGONAL RATIOs(high rotations at nodes) at the nodes of CBEAM elements. Does anyone know how control the high rotations on these noeds... -

Composite material modeling
I am new to composite engineering and wanted to model a composite material with following information: Ply thickness= 0.127 mm 6-6-6-6 Layup(+45, -45, 90, 0|S) here 'S' stands for symmetry. I am using MSC Patran for modeling and Nastran for analysis. Could anyone help me how to fill this...- janipk
