I have noticed that when a sheet metal part has flanges on it the sheet metal doesn't fold back with the pattern (extrude cut) applied over the entire sheet. For example, should one take a honeycomb mesh and try to form it to fit a car grille..it wont.
Any ideas...
I'm currently working on a very simple looking part, furthermore, it is made in a relatively simple way i.e. using a sheet of 15mm aluminium that is then locked in place while a special tool cuts along the top (through the top layer NOT from the top) of the entire sheet with a certain pattern...

It has come to my attention that I cannot export or save a dxf file i.e. I need to convert my part/sketch to a dxf file format and the option simply isn't there.
Tried to search everywhere but no luck :( hopefully somebody here can enlighten me on this matter...
