I've got an old DC motor starter to refurbish (2HP). Photo attached. I'm not sure about the starting arrangement, back emf or timer. Any clues?
Once I've worked out the starting arrangement I need to size the resistors. Again, any clues?

I have a one off GEC CDG 34 relay to test, a legacy relay left on a fairly new system, it protects an 11kV transformer feeder. The remainder of the relays are modern digital type.
Can anyone suggest a suitable secondary test set for the high currents involevd?
Hi. I'm studying a power system which has a 3.3kV 2500kW Ideal Electric Generator, Frame 21120. I can't get a hold of the information for the impedance model, dynamic model and Q,a,b,c, PMin figures. Has anyone modelled this one before?

I have a large number of old GEC relays to replace and have been looking at the digital relays on offer. I can't see much between them in terms of function. I got a long list down to GE Multilin, Schneider SEPAM, Areva MIDOS and Siemens SIPTOTEC.

Does anyone know where I can get a hold of the software for a Trifid T2030P Power Analyser (datta logger). I've had the instrument for year but lost the laptop drive the software was installed on.
