    Using filler metal for fill or cap

    Dear Sirs, I have weld pipe joint with thickness 7.11 mm, I use WPS (GTAW+SMAW) with SMAW (3.2 filler dia for fill and 4.0 for cap). Because thickness not much so we only 3 layers (root, hot and cap) can I use 3.2 for cap instead use 4.0 filler dia as WPS, Thanks so much
