    Solid or stranded wire for motors on VFD's

    Does it matter if the wire feeding a motor from a VFD is stranded or not. I would think the more strands the better. This is relative to the same wire gauge for comparison. The stranding gives more paths for the current to flow so the theory goes. thanks

    pcb mountable shield

    I have a sensitive part on my pcb that needs a quick and dirty mass produces shield can. Does anyone know of an of a manufacturer that sells off the shelf designs?? I would like it solder mounted thru hole. THanks
