If I want EN8 and I want to use the latest standard, I don’t call it 080M40 (BS970) so do I call it C40 (1.0511) or C40E (1.1186)?
Also is the applicable standard

or
BS EN 10277 – 2 : 2008 for C40 (1.0511)
and
BS EN 10277...
How on earth do you set up datum planes for a part with no holes or mounting details and only one small flat surface and one straight edge (neiter of which are really significant features)?
