    Volume per circuit in plate heat exchangers

    Hello Everyone. Can someone help me with the above subject interpretation in ASME section V111 div1 It is my understanding that volume consideration are based on Volume /circuit for plate heat exchangers. I dont see where it says or reference to this interpretation. Thanks.

    Large circular opening in flat rectangular plate

    The only reference in section 8 div 1 appears in UG39(c)(3). This is my case 1-The opening is > 1/2 short span 2-The opening is not central on the plate 3-I may have two openings on the plate If I decide to use appendix 14, is it the right analysis for this situation.Is this covered elsewhere...
