I would like to know if it is possible to dimension the length of a curve in AutoCad, for example, 1/4 of the circumference of a circle.
It is possible in other CAD programs, but I cannot seem to accomplish it in AutoCad.

I am a former V4 user learning V5.
In V4, when creating elements on active plane, all other
elements in Space not on working plane were de-intensified and non-pickable.
Can this be achieved when working on Sketcher plane in V5?
It would greatly help visibilty!

How can you rotate a model dynamically?
All I can find is that annoying tripod and the dview
function which doesn't serve my purpose.
You can pan,zoom dynamically...but where is rotate?

I am trying to import a DXF file into Catia v5, space elements only, with no success.
The generated file imports perfectly into AutoCad v14 and other DXF viewers, but I need to import into Catia.
All Catia does is open a Cat Drawing (2d), but all
the elements in DXF are 3D wireframe.

During installation I keep getting message:
Windows NT Service Pack 3 required for installation.
What's the problem? Isn't W2k built on NT?
