    chromium plating

    Does anyone know what could cause "straight-line" pitting during chromium plating.? The parts have pits in a straight line on the top and bottom in a horizontal plating bath. Happens on both previously plated and not pre plated parts. Chemistry check ok i.e. Cr,sulfates etc.
