In my experience i encountered risers coated with 20-40 mm of Neoprene or polyurethane mixture.
Are there other solutions that give the same performances?
In particular could 2mm of solid thermosetting resin (polyurethane) give the required protection against...

I have to design a clamp system in the splash zone of a platfrom. The clamps are coated with 1.5 - 3 mm of epoxy coating.
Do I have to consider the corrosion allowance in the design?
Wath is the amount of corrosion per year and wath are the reference standards?

I selected a 28" WN flange ANSI B16.47 #150. I need a 28" lap joint flange to make the connection between the sealine and the onshore section of the pipeline, but the standard (ANSI B16.47) does not give any information about it.
how can i make this connection...
