This may sound very simple to many. Not exactly my field.
I wanted to bolt up (4 bolts) from a vertical plate to an existing beam.
Please see my attached sketch.
I intend to mount a panel on the stand which is about 80kg (including the the stand weight)
Bolt/stud is M16 grade 8.8 or...

Has anyone in this forum had used polyuria on a oil tank?
Any pitfalls or drawback? Fixed roof and/or floating roof.
I have used them before on a Sandfilter tank (water).
They are generally very good is applies properly

We normally used Aluminium (or Aluminum) Bronze for the bushing of our cooling water (sea) butterfly valve.
We have a proposal from a manufacturer using Copper instead.
The EPDM seat separate the service product from the bushing.
Just want to get any feedback from users out there who...

I am planning to do a shell repair on a refractory lined furnace.
Bottom section of the furnace will have the refractory removed and shell cut out.
My concern is that do I need some kind of temporary structural support when the shell is cut out.
