    deflagration vent sizing

When you have material with very high burning speed (>> 100 cm/sec ) how do you size the explosion hatch for internal vapor deflagration? NFPA68 focuses on flammable material with up to 60 cm/sec of burning speed. Can someone direct me to equations that I can use to size the hatch? Thanks

    glass vessel to metal one

I used a glass vessel for process development and now need to scale up for stainless steel vessel (still lab scale). Since heat transfer coefficient in glass vessel is different from steel, how do I size a new steel vessel to reach the same or better result?
