hi,
It's supposed wildfire 2 can manage 3d dimension in an isometric view but when I try to make a new dimension in such view is not real. It seems the value match the proyected dimension.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong or proe isn't capable of doing what I want. Other systems like...
My company is looking for a new vertical machinig center. One of the candidates is a HAAS machine. But I've read about some people having problems with them, a lot of repairs, not able to work 24 hours at day, etc. I'd like to read more opinions prior to take a decision.
hi,
I have an assembly that includes some parts from family tables. I want to control the size of all these parts from the assembly itself. I thought that using some variables I can resize the entire assembly.
The problem it's that my pro/program is limited and the help does not help me so...
My company wants to buy a CNC machine. We have an ofer for a Cincinnati CFV 1050 with 3 options:
1/ Siemens Sinumerik 810D, or
2/ GE Fanuc 18i-MB, or
3/ Heidenhain iTNC 530
I don't know the diferences among them to take a decisition. We are mold makers.
what do you think would be better?
thnxs...
does anyone knows how to:
I have some projects at once. For each one there are some changes in some parts. I must print drawings of the project each time I make an important change but I have to annotate the changes in all afected parts. For now, I make a copy of the assembly in a separate...
I'm looking for a good and reliable CAM package. I'm having problems with my CAM. The generated toolpath sometimes is wrong, I mean the tool try to go throw the model with the consequent tool break and model deformation. It's tedious to simulate every machining taking care of the details. It...
I've had some troubles with the NC machining. The toolpath generated by proe is not correct. I mean some times then the tool finish a slice it pass throw the model to start the next slice so it tries to cut the part where it has a lot of material. The result is a broken mill and deformation in...
I don't know if this can be done. It is possible to make cotes in a 3d view? for example in an isometric view. I've tried doing this but the cote has an incorrect value. I'd be usefull to clarify some models.
I have some assemblies containing parts that I modify with pro/program to supress or not some features. When I regenerate the assembly in automatic mode pro/e ask me to modify every part that is modified.
There is some way to change this behavioral?. For exemple, have all the part changes...
hi,
when I'm in sketch mode working on a small detail of a large pieze, for example on a protusion, if I change a dimension Proe automatically zooms out to show me all the pieze. So I've to zoom in to continue working in the small detail. Does anyone knows how to eliminate this automatic zoom?
does anyone has any of these modules?
my company is considering buying them. But the price seems very expensive compared to work saving. Actually we have the molddesign module.
my question is about cataloges and libraries. Proe has cataloges for mold components but not the ones I work usualy with. So I've made myselft a little library using family parts and relationships because I find dificult the "catalog way" of doing it.
Does any body knows a better...
does anyone know how to:
1/I want to put some notes in the draw including some external measures and I'd like to anotate the units like
mm^3 in a better way, ussing superindex and/or subscript but I don't know how to do it.
2/another thing is to include a part parameter in a note. I've tried...
I want to simplify the output of a draft. It happens that I used solid edge before proe, and when I printed a draft the hardcopy was more friendly read than now with proe. Why? because solid edge don't display too much lines, unions between surfaces, etc. So the hardcopy was esay to read.
There...
Does anyone knows how to define a palete of colors to use in every new assembly?.
The problem is that I have to present designs and for easy visualisation I aply a lot of colors, but I have to define them in every assembly. The solution'd be to have some colors predefined
