I cannot find anything about the way of designation of RPS points on the drawing acc. to ASME or ISO. Could you please give me some tip about a standard no. where I can find something about it?
I know the customer way, but it's not enough in my case.......

I wonder if it is possible to refer profile of a surface to a datum which is an irregular shape. Please take a look on attached example. Let say that drawing is acc. to ASME (but in this case I'm not sure that there is a difference between ISO and ASME).

In my daily work I deal with drawings where position tolerance is marked in
the way like on the attached example 1 - please take a look on doc file where I combined all examples.
In my opinion, this way of dimensioning is incompleted. According to
example1 I understand this tolerance...
