Callouts (among other text features) permit the addition a specific list of special characters (ex: adding "%DG" will add a degree symbol).

I've setup a drawing with some dimensions I want to refer to in callouts. Dimensions are in imperial (x' y"). When I reference them in a callout (ex: %{V27557|V}, where the variable name is V27557), the dimensions comme out in metric (mm). How can I change this to show the dimension in imperial...
Just wondering if there's a way to underline text in a block label and/or of a callout, or more generally, underline text of a style (ex: iso).

Here's another problem I've come up with.
Let's say I want to create a ladder and then extract a BOM. I create an assembly with all the different parts needed (support, pegs, wall braces, etc). Now let's say I make these parts adjustable, so I can create a 3 meter ladder or a 4 meter one...
