Article 344.5.2 specifies 100% radiography for girth and miter groove welds in paragraph (a) and random radiography for the same welds in paragraph (b). How do I discriminate between the two rules?
We have a pipe to pipe butt weld 55mm thick.
(We do not have a fabricated branch connection)
When charpy testing carbon steel weld inlaid with 5mm Inconel must the test specimen include the inlay or not according to BPVC section V?
Test temperature is -46°C.
Is it stated in code (ASME B31.3) that you will need "tell tale holes" when you peripheral weld a piping support (rolled plate) to a pipe?
Anybody with more info on this subject?

Our sub-supplier are making a 52" pipe for us of ASTM A516 material. Do anybody know if there are any restrictions on the number of longitudinal welds to make such a pipe?
Do you know if this is written in ASME B31.3?
