now i am designing a project with 2 2500HP 6.6kV motors, the motors supplied by 5000kVA 22/6.6kV transformer, 22KV from utility grid.
each motor and its 500kVar power factor capacitor is switched by the same contactor.
i connect the second motor after the first motor with appropriate time...
i have a project to supply power to instrumentation devices of dam, there are about 120 devices scattered at 0.5 square km area, the length of the dam about 1 km, consumption of each instrumentation device about 10w, there is no option to get supply from grid of electric company.

i design now a 800 meters long service tunnel
along the tunnel i design steel cable ladder with few cables, the biggest cable for transfer 200 ampers.
beside the cable i design bare copper conductor connected to the ladder every 20 meters for equipotential of the ladder.
is it accepted...
i have a project with 1500kVA,3.3kV diesel set, the set supplied without circuit breaker. the distance between the diesel generator and the diesel generator distribution board about 25 meters.
may i installed circuit breaker for the diesel generator and cable protection only on the distribution...
in a case that two parralel cables connect a load
i used to calculate the minimum short circuit current at at the cabled end near the load by taking into cosidaration the two cables impedances.
but i noticed that some electrical software take into considaration for minimum short circuit...
i start to design project with 1600hp,069kV motor driven by 12 pulse VSD,the supplying transformer to VSD shall be 12 pulse transformer 22/o.69/o.69kV DYn11 Dd0, do i need to ground the Y seconary, and how the VSD monitor ground leakage in the trafo secondary.
