    xref-layers

    I can't freeze layers on x-refs. When I click a layer to freeze the x-ref it freezes the entire x-ref and not the layer itself. I have other coleagues here that can freeze the layers of an x-ref. Which option/command do I need to use to remedy this? Using AutoCad 2000.
