    Need help with a mechanism design

    Need help in locating details of a trash can open/close mechanism, ie.. flipping a trash can lid open by stepping on a foot pedal. Actually I need to do the reverse motion, closing the lid(by rotation) by displacing a smaller linear movement. Hope someone can help. Thanks,
