1) For Studs > 1 1/2" manufacturer is using Hydraulic Tensioner, Does Stud length shall have extra margin of one nut each on Both Sides? Is it ok if only one side has that margin? What is general practice?

MDMT for vessel is -50°F for design pressure. There one more condition other than design pressure (pressure less than design pressure) which needs MDMT of -58°F.
Using reduction ratio UCS-66 base metal needs to be impact tested at -50°F and not at -58°F.
Can we take reduction for impact...

Hello there, We have 36" id elliptical head and we need to put 24" manway on that. Manway is cutting through Knuckle of head. Per UG-36(b)(2)there is no limitation on size of the opening as long as you reinforce it.
But can nozzle cut the knuckle of head? does code have any limitation for this...
