    solid editing , need help

    I have a solid object (imported from a step file) with a .375" diameter cut thru. I need to remove or "plug" that hole. When I simply "plug" the hole and UNION the 2 solids together. I can visually see where the plug is. Is there a preferred method of removing holes...
