can we use ss316 or 410 Ball with PEEK Seats.
knowing the PEEK is a hard material will it cause any problems with SS316 or 410 Ball.
PEEK can scratch the ball made of soft material like SS316??
In pipe wall thickness calculation , as per B31.3 , S is the stress value for material from Table A-1, which says Basic Allowable Stresses in Tension.

What is the reason behind Anti friction treatment(AFT) of Plug for lubricated plug valve?
does it have any relation with lubrication of plug? Further the Plug is already specified with hardfacing

I have valves to be used in Sea water service, ASME class 900 (ball) and API class 3000( choke).
what would be the suitable body gasket material for these (gaskets between two body pieces of valve)
Normally for well head and API 3000/ 5000 We use API 6A for Choke Valve.however I want to know the design standard for ASME CL 600 Choke valve used for Oil services.
